sitting in the quiet of the living room with rumely happily grinding away on his bone and two little frenchies on my chest warming up to digest their feeding before going back into the box, All while sipping my coffee. I love it.
And now, the moment you have all been waiting for. The reveal of Milo & Me's newest members!
Drum roll please.................................... Posted: Sunday, May 20, 2012 6:00 am By Britta Arendt Grand Rapids Herald Review She winks when asked how long it took her to write the book. “I’m supposed to lie,” jokes Samantha Schmidt of Grand Rapids. Fibs aside, it took her just 10 minutes, “during my 15 minute break at work,” to write “Milo & Me,” a book about friendship, love and a rescued rabbit. Have a puppy with worms and struggling to get that wormer down the hatch? Heat up some peanut butter to make it easier to mix and mix the two! We are on round four of wormer with rumely... every time We think it's cleared up We spot one of those nasty boogers! This time he needs such a big dose due to his weight We struggled to get him to take it the first of three nights. Night two I had the idea of maybe, just maybe, if We mixed it he would eat it. BINGO! We nailed it! Nights two and three down the hatch and in two weeks when We have to do three days in a row again I'm hoping it'll be the same love for it. Because 4 weeks after that last dose We will have to do it for another three days and Hopefully We will kick them once and for all!
Milo & Me has partnered with Marissa DeSoza, who is a huge part in a Dane rescue, to lend a helping hand in getting more donations for the increase of pups they are taking on right now. For every personal portrait that is ordered at $30 I will be donating $10 of it to the rescue through the end of February. Let's help give these pups a fighting chance and help out their amazing rescuers.
The Loyalty of any animal is something that cannot be replaced but the Loyalty of a dog is that of a hero. Someone who will love you, look out for you and lay their life down on the line for you no matter what. They look forward to you coming home each time you walk out the door, forgive you if you do something wrong and are always trusting that you will do what's right for them and protect them the same as they do for you. For that I am grateful for every dog hair I have in Every item of clothing, the occasional hair I find in my food and the constant vacuuming and sweeping I have to do because of it. And because a house isn't a home without a dog for me.
